Our Story
Flitz International was founded in 1977 by Ulrich Jentzsch and his family. Ulrich and his father Peter came to Wisconsin from Germany to make a better life, and started as vacuum salesmen.
The metal vacuums they sold had issues with rust and dirt, leading the men to discover metal polish.
They saw opportunity in the metal polish business, and transitioned to selling polish at trade shows. Demand grew, and they went on to establish Flitz—which means “fast” in German.
Flitz has expanded to serve diverse markets including auto, marine, and aviation. Our products are found in households, firehouses, Coast Guard stations, and even on military aircrafts.

Based in Waterford, Wisconsin, Flitz has evolved to a third-generation company with a strong, family-like culture. Some of our employees have been with the company for over 30 years!
